LORD Packer / UnPacker 1 (c) Jim Davis

THIS IS FREEWARE. Enjoy. Send money if you want to, I won't
      argue.

   What are these things for?

These are for SysOps running `Legend of the Red Dragon' as a
door game who want to customize the LORD screens.

The LORDTXT.DAT and LORDRIP.DAT files are simply large,
compacted files full of individual .TXT and .RIP files with a
`@#filename' header before each. LUNPACK chops one up into its
component parts -- and LPACK puts them back together.

   Instructions

        LUNPACK [datafile] [extension] > riplist.dat

        [datafile] defaults to `LORDTXT.DAT'
        [extension] defaults to `.TXT'

        For instance, `lunpack lordrip.dat .rip > riplist.dat' will
create all the component .RIP files from LORDRIP.DAT. The
output is much nicer if you redirect the basic output to a
text file, like `riplist.dat'. If you do, that file will be
used for LPACK. That is to say, DO REDIRECT IT TO A FILE.
That file will contain a list of all the filenames it created,
      which is required by LPACK.

        LPACK <outputfile> <filelist>

No default values for <outputfile> or <filelist>.

If you want to recombine the files separated in the above example
      command, you'd use the command `lpack lordrip2.dat riplist.dat'
      to do it.
