CASTLE CAMELOT LORD Apps -- Project Notes:
CCL-PROJ.TXT     {January 2007}

Current work, in progress: January 2007:
-----------------------------------------------------------
1. Fine-tuning of following IGMs, Utilities, and IGM Player
   Database Editors, for official release:

   DOS LORD Utilities: ChasWare LPEdit, Hut2Edit, TurgEdit,
   ConvLore, ROL2EDIT, and FW2Edit.

   DOS LORD IGMs: Kiteria's Lord Bank, The Pawn Shop, Realm of
   Lore, The Village Hut, and Werewolf II.

2. LORD/32 utility:  Chasware Lpedit/32

3. LORD/32 IGM: Free World II.
===============================================================

Upcoming work - Other IGMs/Utilities in 2007:
-----------------------------------------------------------
*) If I can get in contact with Tommy Baker via Doug Rhea, I'm
   planning to (a) get his permission to distribute Graveyard
   v3.40p RTE200 patch update, and (b) to re-create the IGM.

*) Start work sometime in 2007 on 1-2 new LORD/32 IGMs
   based upon (a) Kiteria's Lord Bank and The Gem Trader.

   KLBank32.exe work will possibly start in either mid-January 2007
   or in January 2007. Timetable depends upon (a) when K.L.Bank
   v1.50 is officially released for DOS LORD, and (b) when I'm
   positive the Free World II LORD/32 IGM is stable enough to
   use to create the new LORD/32 IGM.

   I'll work on Gem Trader/32 when KLBank32.exe is working
   properly, perhaps around February 2007.
===========================================================

January 2007: Planned ANGEL Conversion Work:

* HITS v2.71 Beta: Convert IGM to ANGEL toolkit in mid-January.

I will be using my LORD Skeleton IGM to create a brand new
set of code files for Hiding In The Shadows. Timetable is
second week of January 2007 for starting this project.
=============================================================

January 2007: Planned IGM Updates Development:

(1) Once Kiteria's Lord Bank v1.50 has been released, prepare
    v1.60, which will fully implement two variables for Gems
    Interest, a renamed Paid Gold Interest variable, and a
    Gems Tax variable.

    The latter will be based upon a revision of my Charm Tax
    Man LORD Lady script which will be added to KLBank as
    an random event limited to one occurrence per day. Instead
    of taxing Charm, it will levy a Gems Tax based on player's
    Gems on Hand AND their Gems in Bank balance.

    Required: Work on KLBEDIT v1.40 and ConvBank v1.10.

(2) Bring the LORD Gambling Casino IGM up-to-date.
    ** Preliminary work was done in late Nov. 2006.

    ** New Event #1: Inclusion of Gordon Lewicky's TaxMan
       LORD Lady script as once per day random event.
    ** Creation of Player Database Editor utility LGCEDIT.EXE.

    ** Other events are planned to incorporate some components
       from Trevor Herndon's Castle of LORD IGM into LGCasino.

(3) Bring The Ruined Castle IGM up-to-date.
    ** Preliminary work done in late Nov. 2006.

    ** Creation of Player Database Editor utility RUINEDIT.EXE.

    ** New events are planned to incorporate some components
       from Trevor Herndon's Castle of LORD IGM into LGCasino.

01/01/2007 Notes:
I do not have details worked out to date for how reproducable
elements of Castle of LORD can be integrated into three or four
of my IGMs. The only things known for sure is that I can NOT
reproduce the IGM's Palace and Training Grounds events.
=============================================================

January 2007: Planned LORD/32 IGMs Work:

    Create an LORD/32 Skeleton IGM using Free World IGM code.
    Once its done, and works properly, it will be used to create
    Kiteria's Lord Bank/32 IGM. Then at a later time, possibly
    in February, I will work on The Gem Trader/32 IGM.
=============================================================

              No timetable -- 2007 ANGEL Conversions:
------------------------------------------------------------
1) Conversion of The Gateway IGM to use ANGEL tool-kit.

2) Conversion of The Forest Outhouse IGM to use ANGEL tool-kit.

3) Conversion of The L.O.R.D. Cavern IGM to use ANGEL tool-kit.

4) Conversion of Outlands Tavern IGM to use ANGEL tool-kit.

5) Conversion of Realm of Lore IGM to use ANGEL tool-kit.

6) Conversion of RHPTest utility to use ANGEL tool-kit in its
   RHP Language library unit, which currently uses DDIGM.

7) Conversion of The Village Hut IGM to use ANGEL tool-kit.
===============================================================

              No timetable -- Other 2007 programming:
------------------------------------------------------------
1) Bring The Nice Hag IGM up-to-date.

2) Update The Changeling and re-release it under my name.
   Work will only be on the ANGEL toolkit version. I will
   not support the KDrive-based version of Changeling v2.00.

3) Recreation of Shauna, Princess of Sorcery IGM.
   Received David Simmons' OK to do igm project in late May 2005.

   * 03/16/2006: Created skeleton igm called "Lord Skeleton"
   for later usage in development/creation of Shauna II IGM.
===============================================================

         New IGM Player Editors work -- 2007:
         -------------------------------------
*) Create player editor utility for L.O.R.D. Cavern IGM -- LC2EDIT.
*) Create player editor utility for Nice Hag IGM. -- HagEdit.
*) Create player editor utility for Outlands Tavern IGM -- OUTEDIT.

*) Create player editor utility for Forest Outhouse IGM. - OH2EDIT.
*) Create player editor utility for The Gateway IGM. -- GW2EDIT.

Note: Some program names may be changed to new ones when each
editor utility is actually created.
=============================================================

    ANGEL-to-MannDoor Conversions:

---------------------------------------------------------------
Will be handled by myself, with assistance from Jay Hodges.

Other LORD/32 versions of my IGMs will be done at some date,
with these exceptions. Due to their complexity, I highly doubt
that I will be able to do a 32-bit version of these IGMs:
   The Pawn Shop -- The Outlands Tavern -- Realm of Lore.

At some date, I may let someone else do the 32-bit versions
work on those three IGMs. But at present, only myself, Jay
Hodges, and Michael Preslar have actual experience writing
and testing 32-bit LORD programs.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Long-Term development - Have not made outline of how these
events will work yet.
------------------------------------------------------------

Trevor Herndon's Castle of L.O.R.D. IGM can not be reproduced
due to my inability to test/see two of its primary events. So
I have made the decision to graft segments of his old IGM into
various IGMs of mine that have room for new events. As of
December 27th, 2006, I have not made any plans on what parts
of Castle of LORD will work with various IGMs. It is also
very hard to do player-player fights or player-monster fights
where the outcome is not predetermined -- meaning that the
current player will always win the fight. And a large part
of Trevor's IGM was about fights where you could get killed.
==============================================================

1) Ruined Castle. Castle Library event. Vampire Encounter event.
   Both would be inside castle, although I see no problem with
   Vampires being OUTSIDE the castle as well possibly.

   Castle Ghost wish: Possibly allow player to wish harm to
   befall an enemy. Will have to think about that and plan it out.
----------------------------------------------------------------

2) Turgeon's House - Next development cycle.

   * Fairies in Closet - Skill Use Point replacement wish.
     -- Will only work on the player's current Skill Class.
     -- As with other wishes, fairy has to be in a good mood
     or the wish will simply be ignored as they depart closet.

   * Random event 1: Turgeon comes home, finds burglar in house.
     -- Have not decided if player gets killed or not. But they
     will be beaten nearly to death and thrown out of igm.

   * Random event 2: In kitchen, you get sick, throw up, lose
     some stats (HitPoints and Strength/Defense) after eating
     Food and/or drinking Beverage.

   * Random event 5: Players will have to risk LOSING Gold and
     Gems while they go room to room. IGM should not always be
     a no-risk program where you never get hurt, or never risk
     death, but it just has worked out that way in the past.
