I have placed Gopher Hunt in the Misc Section with a BBSFiles.com key. Not sure how well this game will play via telnet, so please try it out an send
some feed back. it's written in C, so I am sure I can get someone to tweak it some if need be.

Someone asked me to located Dave Wendling who wrote the NUGI Consortium doors to see if the source code could be obtained. Dave released the keygen
to his doors years ago, so registration is not the goal. Apparently the goal was to have the ability to fix bugs or add features to some of the
doors. So I located Dave's email, dropped him a line, he replied it was him, so I explained what we do. He didn't reply for a few days, but when
asked if he'd gotten the email, he said something about the email being "too much work" ... ??? I have no clue what he means, but I apologized if the
email had been too long winded, and possibly for the anti-spam system I use that requires a couple of clicks from the sending user to get them on
my white list. (I actually added him to the white list manually once I knew it was him so I'd be sure to get his emails). Anyway, this morning I get
a rather rude email that I have been added to his spam list and no reply from him. I say "rude" since the spam software he uses partially learns your
white list users based on if you reply to them or not, which he had done twice. So that would mean I was manually added to the black list, and the
message that I was added was rather rude itself. All he had to do was tell me he wasn't interested.
So, that makes the NUGI doors go to the DEAD pile for now. I might call Dave on the phone, but not sure it'd be worth the effort.

You may notice that renegadebbs.net now points here to our site. We have taken over the domain from Chris Hoppman. As soon as he forwards the old
website to me, I will repoint the domain and set the site backup. I may also be setting up a CVS for some source code to be accessed and work on.
I obtained all of Chris' source code for all his projects (except Renegades BBS). Some of it I think should be open source for those that want to
continue some of his projects, he has just gotten too busy in real life to mess with it all at this time. I'll post more information later as I get
time to get things in order.

I have been running my BBS since 02/15/80, my BBS started on an old CP/M machine running a home grown modem answering software
that allowed callers to post a message and read messages or local news information and weather. The BBS started as * The Olde West *.
Later I ran shareware software (Phoenix RCS) from about 1985-2002, and a front end mailer (PreNM - written by Larry Houbre). This front
end allowed me to run multiple BBS', one of which was dedicated to games (GameMaster's Realm). The GameMaster's Realm is the one that
remains today. We receive about 80 logins per day and have over 350+ REGISTERED doors running under Synchronet.
With the decline of BBSes, programmers stopped supporting and/or writing doors for BBSes. There are but a handfull of programmers still
working on BBS Doors. I discovered when I converted my BBS from dial up to telnet that a large majority of my doors no longer ran. In
the process of aquiring more doors for my BBS, I found getting registration keys was almost impossible in some cases. I have spent many
hours locating many old door programmers and either asking them to release the reg code software or a version not required to be registered.
Some I have even purchased the source code so they can be updated to run with today's BBS software.
My goal here is to provide as many doors as possible that can still be registered so new and old sysops can run non-crippled doors
on their systems. I will help anyone locate a programmer if they can still be located and attempt to get a registration key for any door.
So if you need help, just drop me a line at support@BBSFiles.com
