Max Larivée's Advanced LORD II (a Max Larivée
production)
A modified remake of LORD II. The current world with a detailed and amplified
storyline. Some details were forgotten, or could've been better, but are
not as important enough to make an IGM out of. So the whole game is reviewed,
rewritten and modified.
At first, Users will remark the animated storyline. The introduction and the birth of a new player is animated with scrolling text. Well, most of the game will now have scrolling text. Then, on the morning you first wake up, you are put in the skin of the caracter, waking up from a hangover after a party at the TreeHouse. Once you are up, you'll automaticly notice major changes in the house. In houses, there is now a kitchen, one bedroom for each people, a washroom, a closet. Some NPCs will have a safe for their money, some a living room, some will even have plants scattered around the house. Also, everytime you are inside a house, you will see the surrounding outside area in a close-up view, making more colorful and alive each houses. Once you are out of your house, you will now notice a slight improvement of drawings, the house no longer made out of matchsticks. Going North, you will have more houses. Will be able to buy a very cheap-costing house in StoneBrook. You will soon notice only two ownerships (a habitat and a money-making business) is possible per caracter. You will be able to walk inside the Hightree Mansion were the noble Hightree family lives, to talk to your friend Wendle, who will now have an important role in the storyline, with whom you will travel as a party, etc. At the TreeHouse, you'll soon notice it is now more alive then ever. There is a sick kid with a hangover from the previous night's party, the usual Chip dude, and another one saying he say you're friend Wendle flirting on a girl. The bulletin board shows NPCs leaving messages to other NPCs, and sometimes even NPCs leaving a message to another player! If you want to go within StoneBrook, you will easily notice the now outside appearance of towns, a zoomed out image in the actual inside on the town. Then, going south, You'll see major modifications to Turgon's house, making the secret passage less "walking out of the screen", making it look like an actual secret passage, not like a computer cheat. Then east, you will see there is nomore hidden passage to Jack's Restaurent, it's now a public place.
As extra information on the storyline, you will witness the wedding of Wendle, the return of most of the trainers to the Training Center, the arrival of the Koshis, the Bounty Hunter wars, the pirate's treasure island, and the actual return of the Red Dragon. For the graphics modification, you will have better and more realistic drawing of each cities (wait until you compare PortTown's Hotel before & after!), storyline animation, but also direct action animation, Better beaches, forests and mountains, and so much more. The game itself will compose of many more items, such as two defferent maps (one more detailed than the other), many new weapons and armors (some being better against some creatures, other with other use then fighting), delivery quests to more towns, and more Travelling Center boat tickets.
Because all items and variables were nearly completely redesigned and classed, this version will be bound to bugs and conflicts if an IGM is added. External IGMs will not be compatible. But every FieldSoft's IGMs developped will be included, and any new ones will have a modified version added to the futur versions of this New World. Most of them will even have modifications that weren't possible with the regular LORD II.
