Matthew Horton
DarkForest's quintessential leader and resident HTML guru, Matt is the head webmaster and graphic artist at the company. He makes most of the decisions regarding areas of coverage and projects.
While he is fluent with several computer languages such as JavaScript, HTML, batch and well acquainted with several widely used graphics packages, he leaves more specific language-based programming
up to Locke. He rarely works on non-HTML involved projects, the sole exception being The MechWarrior 2 Variant Packs, but he will apply advanced HTML techniques to situations that would otherwise require
a huge amount of external programming. He and Locke have been good friends for a countless number of years, as they are bound together by their hatred of SoldaCar, Inc. On the personality side, Matt can only
be described as 'unique'. He has great disgust for so-called "pop culture", favoring classical compositions and music from older generations to today's artists. His main hobby is collecting and playing RPGs, as
he views them as "great works of art, still undiscovered". Matt views RPGs mainly as interactive literary masterpieces, but won't shy away from other video game genres if they "have a good story".

Stephen Walls (a.k.a. Locke)
The Vice President and CEO of DarkForest, Locke's main role is in the PR category. He interacts and advertises DarkForest's presence and products.
He also manages DarkForest's subsidiary organization, ArticNight IGMs (yes, it is intentionally misspelled... if you want to know why, ask him yourself, his
explanation to me still doesn't make much sense...) He specializes in more specific programming languages such as BASIC and, of course, the Lord2 REF code. He
despises SoldaCar because "Hell, if Matt hates 'em enough to get off his lazy [expletive] and take action, they must really be worth hating." On the personality
side, Locke is insane, and I have the reports of several doctors to confirm this. Nevertheless, he spends most of his time "waiting for the right one". As of yet,
she hasn't shown up.
The GHOST
Ah, the GHOST has been a vigilant member of the company since the beginning. His career focused on one area:
Web Tour Guide. However, has the site began to evolve, his services were no longer needed. Matt didn't have the heart
to fire him, because he was a symbol of how far we'd progressed, and because Matt had worked really hard on the JPEG. The
GHOST is here to stay, even though he may just be a figurehead. Yet, you can still read about his wacky antics in Destination:
UNKNOWN.
Zelda
Zelda is a chihuahua. Chihuahuas are cool. Therefore, Zelda is cool. As you might have guessed, Zelda is named after none other than
Princess Zelda, from Nintendo's famed Zelda series. (Hmmm... if FF6 was released back then, she might have been named "Interceptor"...)
Zelda is the reason DarkForest was founded (She was around even before SoldaCar) so she's considered the "founder" of the company. Woof!
Neo Smiley
Neo Smiley was a product of SoldaCar's classified "Personality and Reasoning" project. The project was to create a software entity that had a personality and could think for itself.
The result was Neo Smiley. He gained his demented nature from being exposed to images of hatred and destruction. He now seeks to destroy everything and everyone, in order to make everyone else feel
the pain he was forced to suffer. While not an official member of DarkForest, he will sometimes ally with them in order to accomplish his purposes. He has an excessive hatred toward his creator, Dr Notnilc.
Stickman
Stickman first appeared in one of Matt's school projects. It was for a computer class, in which he had to
create an animation. Well, one thing led to another and the "Annoyingly Realistic Adventures of Stickman" were born. Stickman's antics were
a hit with the rest of the students in the class, so we decided to incorporate Stickman into the site. The rest is history...
