This is my second newsletter for LORD, LORD II, and Tournament LORD program authors and game players. Based on friends who have given me support, I will keep this newsletter going through September, at least. I would appreciate those of you who read this letting me know that you will support me, by providing entries for upcoming issues. From the start, I intended this to be either bi-monthly or quarterly. Doing one each two months doesn't work for me, so it will continue to be quarterly.
Legend of the Red Dragon version 4.05 public beta is available in
these two ways: Download it from my Old Lord
Versions Page, or download it directly from the
LORD Legacy FTP Site. (Closed down in late November 2002.) The archive
is 333 KB in size, and the file name is LORD405P.ZIP. It was released in
March 2000 by Michael Preslar..
The HTML conversion of LordNews Issue #1
is now available, as well as the LordNews
#1 HTML Archive file. It includes email addresses and web-site links.
Paragraph reworded in 4/09/01 update.

06/23/2000: HTML version of this LordNews Issue released. Also
available in LordNews #2 HTML Archive
file. The web-page conversion was started for me by Bobby Queen. It is
different from the original Listbot text release, having been updated to
cover events after April 2000, to correct editing errors, and to reflect
other needed changes. Entries added in June 2000 are marked as "June 2000
Update". And with the debut of LordNews Issue #4 (ccigm-4.htm), in
August 2000, all subsequent newsletter issues were created from the start
as web-pages. (Wording updated on 4/09/01.)
12/06/2000 Update: Corrected web-page's email/website address
entries for Lord authors. 12/08 Update: Finished LORD author entry
corrections. Lord Authors section updates are marked "12/06/2000 Update"
and "12/08 Update". 12/11: Recent LORD Releases Section revised. HTML
version of Issue #2 officially re-released.
03/31/01 Update: LORD v4.06, LORD II v1.2, and Planets: TEOS v2.02 updates were released by Michael Preslar in February 2001. See LordNews Issue #6 for more info. Download links for the updates are: LORD v4.06 (340 KB), LORD II v1.02 (456 KB), and Planets: TEOS v2.02 (276 KB). Added file D/L links on 4/07/01. 04/07-10/2001 Note: Updated issue where needed. Replaced any email/web-site addresses that had changed since the last update. The introduction was modified to cover current LORD program releases.
12/10/01: The LordNews mailing list is used to distribute newsletter status/update reports or actual issue release files to members. 09/13/02: The second HTML Form was added to LordNews Issue #12's web-page on Aug. 27, 2002. LadyScripts Mailing List is for public discussion of LADY Scripts programming ONLY.

CanuckSoft
New version of Crazy Tom's Hut Lord2 IGM released in February 2000.
New Frank's Firearms Lord2 IGM released in mid-March 2000. Notes from
Michael: If any LORD2 IGM authors decide to give up on LORD2, I would
only be too happy to continue updating and supporting their old IGMs,
with my name on it, of course. Naturally, they would get credit for the
initial concept. I would take over for normal LORD IGM authors too, but
alas, my Pascal knowledge is rather limited. I've been leaning more
towards C++, and experimenting with developing LORD IGMs with that. A
toolbox for this would help me greatly, if you know of any, or know of
anyone who might know... Several new IGM ideas to expand upon the LORD2
experience are in the works, however, Canucksoft will be devoting a
majority of it's time this year to developing a Multi-User door game.
No particulars are available yet, but what we can say is that it is a
very in-depth, very absorbing, very rewarding game. Check out the
Canucksoft site over the next several months for information regarding
this new game.
12/06/2000 Update: Updated email/website addresses.
Michael has not responded to email in recent months, so is considered
fully inactive. 03/27/2001 Note: Michael is considered fully
active again. See LordNews Issue #6 for other info. Replaced the email
and site addresses. He moved to the geocities address last year.
03/11/03: No valid email address. No contact in several months
or longer. Web-site is classified as abandoned, along with all LORD/LORD2
programs by Michael.

Codax's Dragon's Den Ultd
Note: Codax is still working on getting the bugs out of his current Lord
program. He has reviewed several Lord2 programs, so if anyone wishes to
see the reviews, they should write him for copies. Codax: The only reason
LORD2 is at a stand-still is because the sense of competition is gone.
Without the medium to get reviewed games to the public, none feel they
should work on them. Thus is my problem.... I have most of the IGMs
unreviewed by Bobby Queen reviewed and up on my page. I don't mind hosting
a new IGM reviewing page or reviewing. In fact I've offered my services to
Bobby several times. I think you had a great idea trying to get LORD2 to
return to mainstream and I want to help. WE CAN DO THIS! Here is the link:
http://members.xoom.com/drgnden/lord2igm/ .. All the HTML files are
the reviews... I don't have the .zips (for the Lord2 IGMs) but they can be
easily downloaded off Bobby's site... Note 2: These are reviews of some of
the Lord2 IGMs listed on the Official Lord II IGM Archive, in the Untested
IGMs page, done by Codax Dragon.

Site status update from Mike: The Pacific Coast Micro site is still up
and running, it's just undergone a few changes. The http URL has
changed from http://www.pcmicro.com/bbs to the new location at
http://archives.thebbs.org
.. All of the files are still available there, but the FTP server at
pcmicro no longer provides file listings to anonymous users.
The BBS Archives site is now a member of the BBS Organization, a small
group of sysops offering several services to the BBS community including web
hosting, mail lists, DNS services, banner exchange, the official BBS FAQ,
and more. I'm slowly going to be moving other BBS section at pcmicro.com
over to thebbs.org as well in the near future, such as the BBS development
news. pcmicro.com will be used for commercial services. Web hosting info:
He offers FREE hosting to anyone with a web-site that is BBS-related, and
for non-BBS sites, the fee is just $10 per month, for 50 megabytes storage

I am trying my best to compile a contacts page for LORD Authors.
Simply for the purpose of making registering IGMs very simple, or if
registration is not available, saving people like me lots of time by
just telling them on one simple web page. I am working hard to make this
page full of IGMs but currently only have a few. I will gladly include the
authors names and email later down...
Here is the URL to my site: http://www.bobobbs.net/bbslordigm.htm.
You can find all the info about the authors there :-) all I have right
now basically is updated email address' for LORD Life, Violets Cottage,
and LORD Surburbia. All the other IGM authors listed have not replied as
of yet. NOTE to authors: Please contact Michael and help him with
this project. It is one worth doing, and I am glad he is willing to do the
work on it.
03/31/2001 Note: Michael is still working on contacting Lord
and Lord2 authors. 01/22/02: Michael's site shut down in early
December 2001, and he's working on getting back online.
Suzanne Franklin --
Kiteria's Korner!'s founder
Suzanne is still with us, but suffering from various ailments like
allergies. I had some information incorrect in my first newsletter issue,
so I need to correct that. Suzanne gave up running her Kiteria's Korner
because she was having health problems back then. The following is from
Suzanne for me, and for her LORD friends:
My congratulations to Michael Preslar on finishing LORD's new version.
It sounds very interesting, and I'm sure it will be a major success. As for
Kiteria, I hope she never dies, and to that end, Bobby Queen is doing what
he can to keep her alive and in the thick of things. I no longer make any
contribution's other than occasionally checking the Guest Book (Kiteria's
Korner website) and replying to those who have written to Kiteria. I gave
my notes and permission to George Pope to continue with my work, a new IGM
CHEAT FILE. If he is not interested, someone else may like to pick up the
gauntlet with my blessing. 09/07/02: Removed Suzanne's email
address. If you need to reach her, let me know.
Steve Gargolinski ---

LORD updates, let's see, I haven't really worked on anything new for
LORD lately. It just seems like there's no reason to, the BBS scene
being near death (sadly...), as I write this. Maybe I'll write just one
more LORD IGM or something for old-times sake, but I think I'm going to
turn my attention to an RPG in the style of the greatest ever, Dragon
Warrior. Maybe if the LORD updates breathe new life into the scene, then
I might consider writing more software (I doubt this will happen, though).
BTW - If you want the source to anything I wrote just drop me a line or
check out the files page on http://bdsoft.cjb.net - It might already be
there. Well people, it seems LORD's day has finally come to an end, it's
sad - But it was quite a ride, wasn't it. To quote a good BBS friend:
Thanks for the memories, and I hope we can all do it again sometime. But we
never will. Steve.
12/08/2000 Update: Fully inactive, due to lack of new
programming ideas, mostly. 06/05/02: Deleted Email address. Has
not been usable in several months. Author's files viewed as being
abandoned.
Joel Gathercole --
http://www.lordii.net/:
Joel has recently released the latest version of his Complete New World
program, version 136.0. It now contains an auto-updater program which
sysops can use to update their CNW setup more easily with. Contact him
for more details about it if interested. He has also changed to a new
website address - http://lord2.darktech.org - and all past versions of
his CNW program may be downloaded from there. He also mentioned a Lord2
mailing list. It is at lord2@egroups.com, to subscribe write to
lord2-subscribe@egroups.com.
12/06/2000 Update: Corrected email/web-site addresses. Note:
Joel is currently working on a new version of Lord II: CNW. 04/07/2001
Notes: Joel moved his web-site to http://greenmachinebbs.com/lord2/
around January 2001. The current version of CNW is 137.1. For more info,
see LordNews Issue #6. 12/24: Dropped
Yahoo email link; no longer usable. 03/11/03: Returned to active
LORD2 activity in January 2003, at www.lordii.net web-site.
01/27/2004: Replaced email address link. Joel is now using
joelgathercole (at) yahoo.com.
Duncan
Idaho -- VisualMatrix Homepage
Duncan is working on his DuneWorld Lord2 program, and has
a web page that people can visit. http://members.xoom.com/InnuendoNZ/ When
he's finished working on it, his website will be named BYTE-ME Software
Productions. DuneLord2, is an update of his original program, which he
didn't release due to not being satisfied with it. He thinks he may be
able to release it by mid-2000. He is also now working on another Lord2
World, which is based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time book series.
This one is named L2WoT.
03/31/2001 Note: Duncan is still working on DuneLord and
Lord2: WoT. 08/02/01: Added web-site address, does not contain
any LORD material yet. 12/24: DuneLord public beta #1 released
today. Available from the Lord Legacy FTP site.
Peter Jackson: He has changed email addresses. Sometime in the future, he will be putting his Lord and Teos files back online on a new web-site. Peter: I may or may not work on more IGM's. I definitely plan to do up a really nice (Shockwave) Flash web site and even another BBS. 12/06/2000 Update: Peter's email address stopped working during the summer of 2000. 03/31/01: He has not been heard from since then. His programs are all unsupported now. Web-site was never reopened.
Korombos --- SharkWare (CLOSED):
He has nothing to report currently about his Lord programs development
plans, or about the KDrive program.
12/08/2000 Update: Currently partly inactive. 04/01/01:
Updated email/web-site addresses. Sharkware now has its own domain.
He is fully active, and is currently working on updates of KDrive, Klord,
and his Lord igms. 04/14: Those programs are now available.

02/28/2000 - from LORD Reborn News page: Rick Parrish will
be working on LordNet. He has an Y2K fix for it, located at
http://lordnet.lordlegacy.org. No, Lord is not dead. I've just been
busy earning a living. Things will settle down soon, I hope. In the
meantime, check out http://org.darktech.org. I'm a programmer for
Inventive Communications, working on various things, such as Perl CGI's
for www.inetlibrary.com, ... Anyway, part of the "perks" of the job
is an IP, a server, and use of the company's T1 line. org.darktech.org
is my testing ground for new CGI's and a few other things.
From Michael - March 2000:
Legend of the Red Dragon v4.05 Public Beta has been released,
as of March 15th. As a beta, it could still have some bugs, but that's
the purpose of a public beta, right? To help the developer get the bugs
out. This is a good show as to what's to come. New in this release:
Lady, a random event scripting language with full
documentation, example scripts, and 3/4 of the default random events moved
to Lady. Uses less memory, optimized code, runs faster, smoother.. a BRAND
NEW LordCfg written from scratch.. Many bugs and cheats fixed.. 4 pages
worth in the whatsnew.txt.. I've also registered a domain name..
www.lordlegacy.org and have begun the work on it. I'll have the Lord site,
Lord2, Teos, and everything else relating to the Lord Legacy. Plus a few
new, unique things not available anywhere else that are highly sought
after.
Since I've had my hands full working on Lord, and am pushing to get
the Lord2 and Teos contracts soon, I've asked Rick Parrish to work on
LordNet. Within 4 hours, he had a Y2K fix. He is continuing work, and
should have it all rewritten sometime soon (I think he said mid-summer.)
From March 29, 2000 entry - Lord Reborn Rambling page: And as you might have noticed.. Lord 4.05 public beta has been released. So far, things have gone incredibly smooth. I've received a few bug reports.. But not for 4.05pb (yay!). If you send an email to e_maus@covingtononline.com with a subject of "send me lord" (no double quotes), my email bot will send you the latest lord exe's as well as any other goodies I have waiting (new menusets, etc) .. The bug reports I've gotten so far have been for these snapshot exe's. (Hey guys, sorry for the display problems. I've been cleaning those routines up, and tweaking them). More Good News: It's been approved. Ill be "adopting" Lord2 and Teos as well. (Ya didn't think I had lord2 and Teos sites for nothing, eh?) The contracts have yet to be signed, but I'm sure they will be soon. -- Michael, 5:00am. Posted March 21 and 24: Got an email this morning.. Sometime in the next 2 weeks, I'll be signing another contract.. For Lord2 and Teos! :) woo! www.lordlegacy.org has gone online. lord2.lordlegacy.org and teos.lordlegacy.org are online as well, but aren't developed as far. ftp.lordlegacy.org is up (check the directory /lordlegacy for bunches of lord stuffs)..
June 2000 Update: LordNet was updated
to fix Y2K problems, and released in early March 2000. No news received
all year, after April release of this issue, about the Lord II and TEOS
contracts. At this time, Gameport has still not sent the contracts to
do Lord2 and TEOS to Michael. (However, that was done in early 2001.)
He is currently classified semi-inactive. Elysium Software was moved
to http://www.elysoft.net (in January 2002). 12/06/2000 Update:
Updated the Lordnet site link - it was moved to
http://lordnet.lordlegacy.org. 01/22/02: The LordNet site is
fully inactive, and the Elysium site is semi-active usually.
03/27/01 Update: Michael is fully active again. The Lord Reborn
site was integrated into the Lord Legacy server. No work has been done
on either the Lord II or TEOS legacy sites. Updates of LORD, LORD II, and
TEOS were released in February 2001. The Lord2 and TEOS updates are basic
"branding" updates, but have recompiled .exe files. For a full update,
see LordNews Issues #6, and later issues. (02/22/03: All Lordlegacy links
referred to in article are currently invalid.)
Seth Robinson ---
Robinson Technologies
Question: When you sold the Lord programs and Teos to
Gameport, did you know that they would not bother to work on them for
such a long time? I've often wondered why you didn't sell to another
programmer who would have jumped in immediately and started work on
updating the programs. Answer: I actually had no plans to sell
LORD, I was about to make my doors freeware. (I had not worked on them
in a long time, and most BBS's were gone, even then..)
Gameport/Metropolis called and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. (I
had no other offers, or tried to sell it to anyone else.) They really
had/have no obligations except to replace lost registration codes of
previous owners, I gave them my database. I could only guess if or
when they would decide to pull the LORD license out and use it on
something new... who knows. They are a pretty large business with lots
of things going for them.
June 2000 Update: Seth was married to Akiko on May 31.
12/08/00 Update: Currently inactive (Lord-wise). 03/27/01:
No longer involved with LORD programming.
Justin Scott ---
Darktech
Justin is working on a new server for Darktech, which he moved to
California last year. The FTP server there no longer is carrying LORD
programs, but does still have some BBS files - Spitfire/VBBS primarily.
According to Justin, they had to take their file archives offline due to
problems with properly indexing the thousands of files, and managing them.
Justin will have a file section with LORD files in it, but does not know
when that will happen. And when his new indexing system is online, he will
be adding more files with full text search and other options.
12/06/2000 Update: Justin stopped hosting LORD sites at
Darktech, and has not been responded to my email since April 2000. He
never resumed carrying Lord files on his FTP site. He is no longer
involved in any known way with LORD. 03/31/01: Removed FTP
address link, and reworded paragraph. 08/05/03: Removed email
address hyperlink at Justin's request.

with the file, but I cannot figure out how to win the IGM myself. If anyone
out there has finished the IGM without cheating, please contact me as I'd
like to know how. The IGM has been out for 2 years or so, so I'm a little
surprised that I haven't heard any complaints earlier. You can find the
file at either mine or Bobby's website, if you want to try and figure it
out yourself, or please e-mail me if you know how to beat my IGM!
12/08/2000 Update: Fully inactive. 04/07/01: Spencer has
not been heard from in months, and is on the "Dead Sites" list. His
programs are all considered unsupported now.
Mike Dillon -
-- Crystalline Realms (Closed)
Mike is still working on development of his ALE Lord utility. 12/08/2000
Update: Currently active, recently released Crystalline Stats program.
08/21/01, 09/07/02: Fixed email address.
Bobby Queen ---
Former Host of Official Lord II IGM Archive Site, and
Kiteria's Korner!
Bobby is dealing with the bad health of his grandparents and hasn't
been able to spend time on his website.
12/06/2000 Update: Bobby is not currently accessible by email,
and is now listed as a "Dead Site". He was semi-inactive due to health
reasons for most of 2000. Those wishing to have Lord II programs
distributed need to send them to Ruth Argust at ruth@doorgames.org for
Fidonet release.
03/31/2001 Note: Bobby is still semi-inactive. He has
recently undergone major surgery, which he is now recuperating from.
For more info, please see the entries for Bobby in LordNews Issue #6.
Lord2 authors should also be sending their IGMs to Joel Gathercole at
greenie_23@yahoo.com. Bobby's web-site is rarely updated due to his
health problems.
05/08/2002 Update: The Kiteria's Korner! site was closed down on Bobby's server in early April 2002. It was relocated to my new site location on the Lord Legacy web-server on April 11, 2002. The Official Lord II IGM Archive Site was turned over to Max Larivee in late May 2002. New location: http://www.fidotel.com/public/l2archive/. 12/02/02: Kiteria site is off-line currently. 03/11/03: Reopened Kiteria's Korner in mid-January 2003 at new location: http://www.fidotel.com/public/kiteria/.
Eric Vinson -- Elysium
Software:
Eric has written a small program for decompiling LORD II .REC files.
If anyone is interested in it, they should write him.
12/08/2000 Update: Site is currently fully inactive. Elysium
Software moved to the http://www.elysoft.org address around October 2000.
03/27/01: See Issue #6 for current March 2001 info.
01/22/02: Site now is at www.elysoft.net.
Some may not be actually inactive, but none of them responded to
my requests for newsletter entries. And some I did not try to contact,
or I had no valid email address for them:
Joseph Watson, Jason Brown, Mike Collard, John Elson, Colby Reich,
Jay Weber (Elric), Billy England, Carlton Griffin, Eric Richardson,
Becky Benjamin, Max Larivee, Thomas Reilly, Ben Tiefert, Tony Brown, Michael
Adams, and Paul Koukos. Dawn Bidot, Shawn Highfield, and David Simmons are
inactive, but still are maintaining Lord-related web-sites. Others, names
unknown, are Arctic Productions, phSoft, and KnyteHawk. Chet Rhodes, Carl
Tice, Ben Tiefert, Janet Terry, and John Winter are among those who are
either no longer reachable by Email or web-site, or who are known to be no
longer involved in Lord programming.
12/06/2000 Update: Joe Marcelletti is now unreachable by email, and the IceRage web-site closed down in May 2000. Mike Snyder has not responded to email in months and is listed as a "Dead Site" currently. Collard, Elson, Reich, England, Griffin, Richardson, Reilly, Tiefert, Brown, and Adams -- listed above, are all classified "Dead Sites". Some, like Becky Benjamin, "Romeo", and Larivee, phSoft, and Blackfist, no longer have web-sites.
03/31/01 Status Update Notes: Joseph Watson is fully active. The Icerage (Marcelletti), Sunshine IGMs (Becky Benjamin), Fieldsoft (Larivee), and Romeo sites all are closed; with the Benjamin site shutting down this spring. These people appear to be unreachable by email, or don't care to respond, and their sites are still running unattended: Snyder, Collard, Elson, Reich, England, Griffin, Reilly, Tiefert, Tony Brown, and David Simmons. The other entries listed above are still valid.
08/02/01 Revision Notes: Paul Koukos and Mike Snyder were
reclassified as fully Active this summer. The IceRage web-site is open
again, hosted by Shannon Talley, and support of WT-Lord and Icerage's
IGMs has been resumed. For details, see Shannon's entry in
LordNews Issue #7. All other notations in
section are still accurate. 08/21/01 Note: Use following link

Icerage Technologies's new site.

End of LORD Releases file listing.
I have committed to providing HTML web-page versions of my LORD Newsletters on my web-site. The HTML conversion of my first Newsletter issue is now available on my web-site. Issues #1, #2, and #3 were converted to HTML format, and made available on my web-site by June 2000. Issues #4 forward were created as HTML web-pages from their inception, with text versions created at each issue's release date. 04/10/01: Issue #6 is currently in development, and will be released around April 16, 2001. Removed entire Surveys section from CCIGM-02.TXT - see Lnws02-Survey.txt file inside CCIGM-02.ZIP if you wish to read the contents. Most of the surveys became outdated soon after the issue was released, and are no longer of value. Some parts I'm keeping around, since they are still good.
Castle Camelot web-site layout changes: 04/10/01 Update: Removed original notes primarily from this section, due to the majority no longer being of value, or the ideas mentioned were dropped after this issue was released. I dropped the plan to make a Lord subdirectory to hold all of my Lord web-page files in. Trying to convert my Lord IGMs page to tables format was dropped. In early March 2000, the Lord II IGMs Page's layout was revised, replacing the old paragraph listings with four tables for listing IGMs. 12/06/2000: In June 2000, the Yosemite Waterfalls Page was created.
09/14/02: Removed Authors Survey, LORD News Page Survey,
Kiteria's Korner Survey, and Official Lord2 Site Survey paragraphs
to cc02note.txt file.

This issue had contributions from 17 Lord authors and friends, and
their assistance was/is greatly appreciated. The Text versions of each
issue, when released publicly, are distributed via Listbot. This version
was released on April 05, 2000 in two parts. Printing Info: Using
Netscape Navigator, this page is 10-11 pages long. Issue #3 is scheduled
for June release, and will be named CCIGM-03.TXT. When created, that
issue's HTML conversion page will be available as ccigm-3.htm.
HTML Conversion Pages Notes - June 2000: Issue #1's
conversion page was released on April 28. The conversion pages for
issues #2 and #3 were both finished and released on June 27-28.
12/06/2000 Update: Issue #3 was released on June 20. Issue
#4 was released on September 19. The scheduled release date for Issue #5
is December 18-19, 2000. I've deleted some survey sections since they
were only in effect for one issue, including those about the Kiteria's
Korner web-site. Issue #4 was prepared as an HTML web-page, since I
decided it was easier to convert an HTML file to text. Those who wish
to send in entries for Issue #5, or later versions, can reach me by
Email or via my site's Guestbook.
03/31/01 Note: Removed entire Surveys section from
CCIGM-02.TXT, during its initial update. It was archived inside
CCIGM-02.ZIP, as Lnws02-Survey.txt, should anyone care to see the
original section's text. All of the surveys became outdated soon after
the issue was released, and are no longer of value. Some parts I've kept
around, since they are still good.
My thanks to the following friends for supplying me with
entries for this issue. Michael Bujold, Codax Dragon, Mike Ehlert, Michael
Everett, Suzanne Franklin, Steve Gargolinski, Joel Gathercole, Duncan
Idaho, Peter Jackson, Korombos, Michael Preslar, Seth Robinson, Justin
Scott, Bryan Stanbridge, Tien Lung, Bryan Turner, Spencer Vickers, and
Eric Vinson. Thanks also to friends like Ruth Argust who have LORD
web-sites. And to others who did not send me anything usable for the
newsletter, including Bobby Queen, Elric, and Mike Dillon. Thank you
all for your support.
LORD IGM Authors Newsletter, Issue 2, was released in Text format, via Listbot, on April 05, 2000. This HTML version was started in mid-June, and was released via my web-site on June 23, 2000. Major changes made to this include a full revision of the Surveys section, making web-site links into hyperlinks, adding a page counter, and the update of the Surveys section and Newsletter Summary section.
The first primary update of LordNews Issue #2 was when it was released as an HTML web-page on June 26, 2000. Various author and site entries were updated to reflect email/website address changes, site closures, etc. The HTML version of LordNews Issue #3 was released on June 28 also. Second primary update started on Dec. 06, 2000. Various author entries updated for email address/author name hyperlinks, or to reflect where some authors are no longer available. Modification history section and LordNews Issues section have been revised. Added corrected web-page counter code, due to geocities changing counters on its users in October 2000. All listed email/web-site addresses are currently valid. LordNews Issue #2 (HTML) officially re-released on Dec. 12, 2000 (at 01:29 am).
04/07-10/2001 Update: Updated issue files, ccigm-2.htm and ccigm-02.txt, to use basically the same update notes. Did needed updates for email/website address changes, and added brief update notes for various sections and author entries. Finished issue update on April 14, 2001. 08/02/01: Added short update notes to parts of web-page. 08/21/01: Fixed one email address error, replaced LordNews Issues Links section, Added current Icerage Tech. web-site link. Added LordNews mailing list update paragraph. 10/31/01, 12/10/01: Replaced LordNews Links Section. 12/10: Replaced LordNews mailing list info. 12/21: Miscellaneous updates done. 12/24: Added Table of Contents, issue section relocations.
January-February 2002: 01/20/02: Replaced LordNews issues Links section. 01/22: Updated Michael Everett entry. 02/07: Sight checked email links; entry updates: Gathercole, Turner; issue links updated. work with current fidotel.com web-site. Updated LordNews Issues
Links section. 02/22/03: Revised links for closed down Lordlegacy.org
site. 03/11/03: Updated Michael Bujold, Joel Gathercole, Michael
Preslar, Bobby Queen (Kiteria's Korner!) entries.

IceRage Technologies is closed; Kiteria's Korner is relocated; Lord2 IGM Archive Site is closed; and FieldSoft IGMs is closed. Did brief update to replace Fidotel.com hyperlinks. 01/13/09: I will replace the web-page counters code eventually (maybe). Fixed some HTML coding errors.
